Description
Voltage levels in AC can be changed much easier than in case of DC and with much more efficiency, it was one of the deciding factors in war of Currents between Edison and Tesla. But, with this XL6009 DC-DC Boost Converter is capable of driving a load current of upto 3A with excellent load and line regulation. This module operates at the frequency of 400kHz so the filter components are comparatively smaller compared to the other low frequency switching regulators. It can provide efficiency up to 92% which is very good for a switching regulator and its small size allows it to be used in portable electronics. It can be used in Battery charging circuits, Low power motor speed control circuits, Automotive applications etc.
Product Description
To incorporate this module in your system you need to connect the input DC wires to respective input terminals on the board and take the output from the Output terminals. If you need to change the output voltage, you can do that by using the variable resistor knob given on the board.
